McLoud Public Schools Families,
This evening, we were made aware of an anonymous social media post containing a general threat involving multiple school districts in our area. We have been in contact with law enforcement, and at this time, there is no recommendation to change our school schedule. McLoud Public Schools will operate as planned tomorrow. As always, our schools will follow our established safety and security procedures, and we will continue working closely with local law enforcement. We will remain in communication with them and will respond appropriately if any additional information becomes available.
We understand that hearing about a possible threat can be concerning, and we know our families may have questions. Please know that the safety of our students and staff is always our first priority.
If circumstances change or we receive information that requires a change to our plans, we will communicate that with families as quickly as possible.
Thank you for your trust, your partnership, and for helping us keep McLoud Public Schools a safe place for our students and staff.
